A rule set holds the validation rules of one format in one version, for example the rules of XRechnung 3.0.2. On this page you see every rule set VAMPIRE knows, with its version, its number of rules, its origin and its license. The overview is generated from the same data as the file NOTICE in every package.
The publishers of the formats release their validation rules as Schematron files; Schematron is a language for describing validation rules for XML. VAMPIRE translates these official files by machine into its own rule format. The rule identifiers and the message texts stay unchanged, so you can find every message from VAMPIRE in the publisher's own documentation.

Rule package in VAMPIRE PHP and VAMPIRE JS
Where the rule packages come from: the official Schematron files are translated by machine, and identifiers and message texts stay the same.
The translated rule packages are under the license of their source. VAMPIRE PHP is free software under the GPL-2.0-or-later, and VAMPIRE JS is a paid product. The rule packages are included in both editions and cost nothing extra. If the license of a rule set is not cleared, we do not ship that rule set.
The rule sets
The columns PHP and JS say whether the rule set is part of the package of VAMPIRE PHP and of the package of VAMPIRE JS. A rule set with the status "not shipped" is missing from both packages until its license is cleared; an invoice of that format then gets the note "rule set not included" and no result.
Status "requested": the rights holder states no license for these rules. Its consent to pass them on has been requested. Until the answer the rules are included; without consent they are removed with the next update.
The versions of the multi-version check
For the multi-version check VAMPIRE carries rule packages per version. The figure names the rules per profile in this order: MINIMUM, BASIC WL, BASIC, EN 16931, EXTENDED.
